The Genesis of Our Journey

It all started with a conversation over coffee with Sarah, a senior HR director drowning in spreadsheets. Her eyes were tired, her spirit frustrated. "We're treating people like numbers," she said, sliding a stack of papers across the table. Each page represented a human story – dreams, potential, aspirations – reduced to cells and columns.

Goal

Design a comprehensive Talent CRM platform that transforms talent management through centralized, data-driven strategies.

Results

  • User interviews uncovered lots of user behavior that steered the project in a meaningful direction.
    • The number of users in Beta phase has increased significantly since the first week.

      • Designed user interfaces from scratch.
        • Solo designer lead for product live involving activities in GTM.

            My Role

            I joined the Humbird AI team early on from when it was acquired as a startup. With minimal product requirements defined, I was tasked to create a Talent CRM application from scratch which included defining features necessary to the core experience, customer journey work, designing POCs, and layouts.

            Low Fidelity Wireframes

            Created initial design concepts focusing on:

            Iteration 1

            The initial idea was to provide the HR teams to give a better experience rather than drag and drop in kanban boards.
            This version updated with traditional top bottom approach and introducing various customization includes filter, sort, etc.

            Iteration 2

            In this version the side bar is used as a floating element, and introducing layered structure to the layout.

            Iteration 3

            The filter section is moved to LHS to utilize the space in the activity area. The card view is been replaced with advanced list tiles.

            Final Version to live

            The filter section is made as expandable/collapse element. Card view is retained with advanced visual elements and an overall brief of a candidate at a glance.
